After his successful stint with Williams, Villeneuve went on to race for other teams such as BAR, Renault, Sauber, and BMW Sauber. Although he never achieved the same level of success as he did with Williams, Villeneuve continued to be a competitive force in Formula 1, securing podium finishes and earning the respect of his fellow drivers.
