Buttler began his cricketing career at a young age, rising through the ranks with impressive performances in domestic cricket for Somerset and later Lancashire. He made his international debut for England in a Twenty20 International (T20I) against India in 2011 and soon established himself as a key player in the ODI and T20I formats.
