Andretti made his Formula One debut in 1968 with the Lotus team and went on to race for several teams during his F1 career, including Ferrari, March, and Alfa Romeo. He achieved his first and only World Championship title in 1978 driving for Lotus. In total, Andretti competed in 128 Formula One races, achieving 12 wins, 18 pole positions, and 18 fastest laps.
