Curran comes from a cricketing family; his father, Kevin Curran, played international cricket for Zimbabwe, and his older brother, Tom Curran, is also an international cricketer for England. Sam Curran made his international debut in 2018 and quickly established himself as a versatile player capable of making valuable contributions with both bat and ball. He has been a key player for England in Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20I) formats. Curran is known for his ability to swing the ball, his lower-order batting, and his energetic presence on the field.
