Collins began his career at Chelsea, where he came up through the youth ranks and signed his first professional contract in 2014. During his time at Chelsea, Collins went on several loan spells to gain experience and playing time. He played for a number of clubs including Burton Albion, Forest Green Rovers, and Barnsley.
