Aguilera began his professional career with the LA Galaxy II, the reserve team of Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy. He made a strong impression with his performances for the Galaxy II and was soon noticed by scouts from Europe. In 2019, Aguilera made the move to Bristol Rovers, a club in League One, the third tier of English football.
