Betsy began his career in the youth system of Premier League club Fulham, where he made his professional debut in 1997. Over the course of his career, Betsy also played for a number of clubs including Barnsley, Bristol City, Wycombe Wanderers, Oldham Athletic, Woking, and Aldershot Town among others. Betsy made over 500 appearances in professional football during his playing career.
