In 2008, McCormick’s career took a dark turn when he was involved in a tragic car accident that resulted in the death of two young brothers. McCormick was convicted of causing death by dangerous driving and served a prison sentence. Despite this setback, McCormick was able to rebuild his career after his release and signed with Swindon Town in 2013.
