O’Leary started his football career at the youth academy of Bristol City before signing his first professional contract with the club in 2014. He then spent time on loan at non-league clubs such as Bath City and Solihull Moors to gain valuable experience and playing time. O’Leary made his first-team debut for Bristol City in 2018 and has since become an integral part of the squad.
