Hedges began his professional football career at Swansea City, where he spent several years in the club’s youth academy before making his first-team debut in 2013. He then went on loan spells at Leyton Orient, Stevenage, and Yeovil Town to gain more playing experience. In 2018, Hedges signed with Scottish club Aberdeen, where he made a significant impact as a versatile attacking player.
