Valero began his youth career at Valencia CF before making his senior debut for the club in 2010. He then went on loan to FC Barcelona B in the 2011-2012 season, where he gained valuable experience playing in the Segunda División. In 2012, he made a permanent move to Villarreal CF, where he spent six successful seasons, establishing himself as a versatile midfielder with excellent passing and vision.
