Foderingham began his football career at the youth academy of Crystal Palace before moving to Fulham in 2005. He later joined Swindon Town in 2011, where he made over 200 appearances for the club. During his time at Swindon Town, Foderingham established himself as a reliable goalkeeper and earned a reputation for his shot-stopping abilities and distribution skills.
