In the 2012 NFL Draft, Anger was selected in the third round by the Jacksonville Jaguars, becoming the highest-drafted punter since 1995. He played for the Jaguars for four seasons before signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2016. Anger spent three seasons with the Buccaneers before signing with the Houston Texans in 2019. In 2021, he joined the Dallas Cowboys, where he continues to showcase his exceptional punting skills.
