Brunskill began his fo
otball career at San Diego State University, where he played as a blocking tight end. After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent. However, he was waived by the Falcons before the start of the regular season and eventually signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2017.
