Galinović began his career in the youth ranks of his hometown club, Hajduk Split, before making his professional debut for the senior team in 2005. He spent four seasons at Hajduk Split, making over 100 appearances and impressing with his performances between the posts. His time at the club helped him develop into a strong and capable goalkeeper, leading to interest from other clubs.
