Ferran Torres before the fame

The background and early turning points that shaped Ferran Torres’s route to prominence.

The ball sat up awkwardly on the MetLife turf in the 106th minute, and the substitute who had come
on at 62 minutes hit it left-footed under the crossbar. That goal won Spain the 2026 World Cup against
Argentina, and Associated Press recorded the scorer calling it a goal “scored by 47 million people”.

Ferran Torres García was born on 29 February 2000 in Foios, north of Valencia, and his
football was Valencian from the start: the Paterna academy, then the reserve team at sixteen.

Out of Foios and into Mestalla

He debuted for Valencia at seventeen and finished on 97 first-team appearances and nine goals, a
return shaped by being used wide and often from the bench. He won the Copa del Rey in 2018-19 and took
Under-17 and Under-19 European titles with Spain.

The money was small. Valencia protected him with a reported €100 million release clause
while paying a fraction of what that implied: our estimate is roughly €2.5 million gross in wages
across the three seasons.

Ferran Torres’s breakthrough years

The career decisions and defining moments that turned recognition into sustained earning power.

Manchester City signed him in August 2020 for a fee reported at €23 million; in eighteen
months he won the Premier League and the EFL Cup and scored 16 goals in 43 appearances.

Why Barcelona paid €55 million for a squad player

Barcelona bought him in December 2021 for €55 million plus about €10 million in
add-ons and signed him to 2027. He left four and a half years later with 207 appearances, 65 goals,
three La Liga titles, a Copa del Rey and three Supercopa wins. Ara reported a further term:
€7 to €8 million owed back to City if Barcelona extended him past June 2027.

They sold him instead. On 15 August 2026 Paris Saint-Germain announced a contract until 2031 and the number 9
shirt; Associated Press reported that L’Équipe put the fee at €50 million. He scored twice off
the bench on debut at Rennes, then a hat-trick off Slovan Bratislava in a 6-1 win which The National
recorded as his Champions League debut for the club.

What Ferran Torres’s work can earn

Reported pay, contracts, royalties and performance income reveal how the fortune was funded.

Here is what the craft has paid him. A transfer fee moves between clubs, so fees sit outside the
total; every wage row is gross.

Period Club Gross craft earnings Basis
2017-2020 Valencia, 97 apps €2.5m our estimate
2020-2022 Manchester City, 43 apps €7.0m our estimate, £80,000 a week
2022-2026 Barcelona, 207 apps €34.5m our estimate, €7.5m a season
Aug-Oct 2026 Paris Saint-Germain €1.8m our estimate, a fifth of a season
July 2026 Spain, World Cup winner €0.76m press-reported
2019-2026 Spain, 66 caps €0.5m our estimate

That is about €47 million gross, roughly $53 million at the European Central Bank
rate of $1.12 to the euro on 23 October 2026. The World Cup row is the firmest figure:
beIN Sports reported a gross €440,000 per squad member for reaching the final and €750,000
each for winning it. The Paris seasons running to 2031 are unplayed, so that money is upside and stays
out of both this total and the published figure.

He was named man of the match in the World Cup final, having assisted the winner in the 1-0
round-of-16 tie with Portugal, and he won the European Championship with Spain in 2024. By late
September 2026 he stood at 66 caps and 25 international goals, and the Paris number 9 he inherited
had been worn by Ronaldinho, Ibrahimović and Mbappé.

Ferran Torres’s business beyond the main career

Endorsements, ownership interests and investments can keep compounding long after the initial breakthrough.

The iNuba global ambassadorship is the commercial tie that can be pinned to a named company, and
it anchors this section. Our estimate for the whole commercial line is €1.5 million gross in 2026
against perhaps €400,000 a year at Valencia, or roughly €7 million gross across the career,
assuming a Spanish international forward with a World Cup winner’s medal earns low
single-digit millions a year from brands.

Eleven Future Invest SL was incorporated in January 2023, named for the number 11 he wore in his
first Barcelona season. El Espanol, working from the Registro Mercantil, reported that his sister Arantxa
is its sole employee and that the business buys, refurbishes, sells and lets property.

He is also a partner in iNuba, a Spanish health-technology startup applying artificial
intelligence to nutrition and 3D body scanning. Vozpopuli reported that he holds it with three partners,
is its global ambassador, and that it has attracted €1.66 million of investment — money
investors put into iNuba rather than money Torres holds, so it stays out of the working. His
stake’s size is absent from the filings, so the working carries no value for it.

Ferran Torres’s notable luxury item

A reported property or major asset offers a tangible glimpse of the wealth behind the public estimate.

What the filed accounts show

This is the best-documented part of his balance sheet, public because a political row sent
Spanish journalists to the filings. El Espanol reported net equity in Eleven Future Invest of
€6.56 million, up about €1 million on the previous year’s
€5.51 million, from accounts filed for 2023 and 2024. Its principal asset is a commercial
building beside the Mestalla stadium: 50 registered units let as offices.

That reporting, and the fact-check Maldita.es published on it, put his residences at four — one
in Barcelona, two in Valencia and a summer home — plus a plot he intends to build on. With the
office units that makes the 55 registered properties cited in July 2026: title entries, not houses.

Ferran Torres’s estimated net worth

$17 Million

Public estimates vary because private contracts, investments, taxes and liabilities are not fully disclosed.

How this estimate is calculated

One model, applied once: earnings, less fees, less tax, less what has been spent and bought,
counting the resulting assets a single time. Nothing is stacked on the cash that paid for it, because
the filed equity and the four homes are those purchases.

Take the €47 million of gross wages and bonuses in the table plus about €7 million of
estimated commercial income: €54 million. Deduct 5 per cent for agent and advisory fees and tax
the €51.3 million left once, at a blended 44 per cent effective rate — an assumption
sitting below the 50 per cent Catalan, 45 per cent English and 49 per cent French top marginal rates
that applied in turn. That leaves €28.7 million net. Remove nine years of living, family, cars
and the equity put into four properties at 45 per cent of net, and about
€15.8 million is retained, or $17.7 million at the European Central Bank rate above. The
working supports $13 million to $21 million, and we publish its midpoint.

The cross-check is what makes it worth anything: equity of €6.56 million at the end of 2024,
climbing about €1 million a year, plus four residences and a plot net of mortgages, lands in the
mid-teens of millions. The softest input is the Barcelona wage, since €7.5 million a season is
our figure and not a disclosure: move it €2 million either way and the published number shifts by
about $7 million. A later filing would settle the other question, whether those four homes sit inside
the company or in his own name, because counting one asset twice is the error this method can still
make.

Confidence: Partly documented — filed company accounts and a published World Cup bonus anchor
the asset side, while every club wage in the working is our own estimate.

Campus Ferran Torres runs each summer in Foios as a football and values programme for young people
at risk of social exclusion, which Vozpopuli described as a high-performance coaching project rather than
a branded holiday camp. The mayor of Foios defended him publicly in July 2026 when a regional deputy
attacked his property company. His playing reputation, which UEFA records across three clubs in the
Champions League, is of a forward usable across a front three.

On 21 July 2026 Alberto Ibáñez, a Compromís-Sumar deputy, called Eleven Future
Invest a “fondo buitre” and said it had accumulated 20 homes in Valencia to speculate
with, citing a Forbes report that counted 20 properties across Valencia and Catalonia. El Espanol and
Maldita.es both examined it and reported that “properties” had become “homes” in
the retelling, and that the holdings were the office block plus his own residences.

The other scrutiny has been about availability: he withdrew from the Spain squad in early October
2026 with ankle discomfort, returning for the Ligue 1 fixtures after it.
